A word from a
feminist
|
|
Respected author and feminist moderate, Doris Lessing say she has
become increasingly shocked at the "automatic rubbishing of
men, which is now so part of our culture that it is hardly even
noticed".
"Feminism has achieved much for women, but why did this
have to be at the cost of men" she asked.
"We have many wonderful, clever, powerful women
everywhere, but what is happening to men?"
"I was in a class of nine and 10-year-olds, girls and
boys, and this young woman was telling these kids that the reason
for wars was the innately violent nature of men", she said.
"You could see the little girls, fat with complacency
and conceit while the little boys sat there crumpled, apologising
for their existence, thinking this was going to be the pattern of
their lives".
"This kind of thing is happening in schools all over the
place and no one says a thing."
"It is time we began to ask who are these women who
continually rubbish men?..... Men seem to be so cowed that they can't
fight back, and it is time they did", Lessing said.
Famous American author, Dr. Laura
Schlessinger, devotes a chapter of her new book Woman
Power: Transform Your Man, Your Marriage, Your Life
to male-bashing and anti-male campaigns. She notes:
"The brainwashing of women
to feel hostile toward men begins in subtle and no-so-subtle ways,
from the time they are little girls."

Bombarded with negative images and statistics about male
prison rates and rape rates, boys are growing up feeling alienated,
frustrated and even suicidal. Before they succumb, they
should consider the following:
|
|
All of the great inventions and discoveries in history
including mathematics, the printing press, electricity and the steam engine
were made by men.
All of the important inventions of the 20th Century that transformed the
western world into the comfortable, orderly, civilised and
affluent society that it is today were made by men. Think how life
would be without electricity, running water, refrigeration, the automobile, the
aeroplane, the jet engine and the transistor (forerunner to the
amazing array of 21st century electronic entertainment and
labour-saving products).
More than 95 per cent of the houses we live in were built by
men who do the back-breaking work of pouring concrete and laying bricks.
Men sweat in foundries, pit muscle and sinew against rock in mines and risk
death on 40-storey building sites so that their wives and children
can live in comfort. Men comprise 95 per cent of all workplace
fatalities and the vast majority of work-related injuries.
The legal system that protects women's safety and women's
rights was invented by men.
Men have won 95 per cent of all Nobel Prizes ever awarded. No
woman has ever won the Nobel prize for economics. Before the
feminist warriors get on their high horses and claim that women
did not have the opportunities to win prizes, they should bear in
mind that the third Nobel prize for physics ever awarded (1903)
was won by Marie Curie. In the 100 years since, only one other
woman has one the prize for physics.
Boys should ask their tormentors, why is it that that women
have created only a tiny fraction of world's great music, great
literature and great works of art?
And in what are considered female domains, why is it that men
make the best chefs, the best dress designers, the best
hairdressers and the best entertainers?

Feminist zealots create an anti-male world
Enough is enough - the put-down of males must cease

the highest level]
In a TV commercial, a clumsy male gawks at his son drawing on the wall, turns away and walks smack
into a drawing of a door on the wall, bounces off and ends up spreadeagled on
the floor. His equally dorky son squints at him through coke-bottle glasses and resumes drawing. Furniture multinational, Ikea, has joined the
growing list of companies using negative stereotypes of men as bumbling fools to
advertise their products.
University texts have become feminised and anti-male. Following university
indoctrination, the more activist teachers are disseminating the anti-male
propaganda, telling their classes for example, that the reasons for wars is the
innately violent nature of men (see left panel, "A word from a
feminist").
American sitcoms are replete with images of oafish, bumbling males who
constantly need assistance from smart, smug females.
American crime shows such as Law & Order - Special Victims Unit depict men as evil rapists
and murderers. The male star of SVU takes great delight in slamming each male
suspect up against the wall and hissing "you low-life scumbag" in his face. On the rare occasion the detectives apprehend a woman
suspect
they treat her very gently because there must have been a good reason she murdered
her child.
American marketing company, David & Goliath sells T-shirts to 3,000
stores in the US with slogans like "Boys are stupid, throw rocks at
them" and "Boys lie... poke 'em in the eye" (see left panel).
All of the negative images of males is having a devastating effect on the
morale of young boys. "They are soaking up these negative images",
says Don Bowak, NSW president of the Men's Health and Well-Being Association.
"There's huge anger and they don't even know where it is coming from".
Feminism started out as movement designed to redress the imbalance in
opportunities and conditions for women, but was hijacked by radical
socialists employing Marxist techniques of class warfare to create division
between men and women where none had existed. The man-hating, spiky-haired warriors of Lesbos
gleefully jumped on the bandwagon.
Special government agencies
Together these feminazis have lobbied governments to parachute them into special government agencies designed to
advance the cause of radical feminism at the expense of men. Male taxpayers are
funding a plethora of government bureaucracies such as the Office for Women's
Interests and the Sex Discrimination Commission. There is not one agency for
men's interests.
So powerful has been their campaign that many compliant men stupidly assist
the radical feminists. The largely male-dominated Family Court awards child custody to women in more
than 80 per
cent of cases.
Election issue
This must become an election issue. The taxpayer-funded feminist
bureaucracies must be disbanded. Men do not want to reverse women's hard-won
gains. Normal women do not want to see their husbands vilified and their sons
commit suicide. There is no
gender war - just a war between spiteful, radical feminists and the rest of society.

The commander in charge of military police at the notorious Abu Ghraib prison
camp, the source of numerous photographs of alleged mistreatment of Iraqi
prisoners, is General Karpinski - a woman.

Some scary
statistics
|
|
In Australia upwards of 1 million children live separate from
their fathers.
Custody orders in the Family Court in the year 2000-2001
favoured mothers in over 80 per cent of the cases.
Education Minister Brendan Nelson reports that the male
participation rate at universities has fallen to an all-time low
of 43 per cent.
Only 55 per cent of 15-year-old boys score at or near the OECD
mean in reading and literacy tests.
In NSW, the difference between the average tertiary entrance
score for girls and boys is up, from 0.6 marks in 1981 to a
massive 19.4 marks in 1996.
Only 21 per cent of teachers at primary level are men. A number
of primary schools have no male teachers.
Males in the age range 25-44 years have the highest suicide
rate. The second highest rate is males aged 15-24. Males have four
times the suicide rate of females.

Women as Prime
Ministers
|
"If women ruled the world there would
be no wars" goes the feminist mantra, in another put-down of
men. Well, what is the track record of women leaders?
- The world's first female prime minister, Sirimano
Bandaranaike, was elected prime minister of Ceylon in 1960.
During her reign she:
- Inflamed tensions between the
country's majority Sinhalese and minority Tamils that led to a
bitter 18-year civil war
- Turned a model state into a socialist
poor house
- Ruthlessly crushed a Marxist
revolution
- Forced the shutdown of the Independent
newspaper group to stifle its criticism of her corrupt
practices.
- Was finally expelled from parliament
in 1980 because of her abuses of power.
|
|
- Indira Ghandi, Prime Minister of India from 1966-77 and
1980-84 led her country to war with Pakistan in 1971. She set
up
India's nuclear program, culminating in the explosion of a
nuclear device in 1974.
- Golda Meir, Prime Minister of Israel went to war with her
Arab neighbours in the 1973 Yom Kippur war.
- Prime Minister of Britain, Margaret Thatcher went to war
with Argentina over the Falklands.
